ROLE

Excellent communication skills. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and other departments. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests within 15 seconds of entering store or approaching counter in a positive, friendly manner
• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately
• Exhibit an approachable and friendly attitude at all times
• Practice suggestive selling techniques
• Communicate proper knowledge of all menu and retail items to guests
• Thank guests as they leave the outlet and encourage them to return
• Communicate in a professional manner with co-workers
• Demonstrate proper methods and techniques of cleaning facility and equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all store and storage areas
• Demonstrate accurate knowledge of the care and use of all equipment
• Demonstrate proper methods and techniques of cleaning facility and equipment
• Maintain appropriate stock of all food, beverage and retail items
• Utilize proper methods and practices of food preparation and service
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and safe store environment throughout all weather conditions
• Complete shift checkout sheet in an accurate, neat, and timely manner
• Accurately complete product inventories
• Properly receive merchandise and complete invoices to maximize inventory control
• Ensure all food products are rotated on a first-in, first-out basis and according to expiration date
• Reduce theft loss and shrinkage by practicing awareness in the workplace
• Follow all state and federal policies regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
• Enforce all company standards, policies and guidelines
• Complete all other store tasks and activities as assigned in a prompt, cooperative and accurate manner

Requirements

• Health Card
• TAM Card
• Be able to transport stock from remote storage location
• Be able to lift, pull, push and /or move up to 35 pounds in stocking and merchandising inventory
• Be able to stand a full eight (8) hour shift
• Be able to stand, stoop, climb and bend as necessary to stock and inventory merchandise
• Maintain appropriate grooming and appearance standards
• Report prepared and ready for work at scheduled time in clean, well-maintained uniform
