Core Responsibilities include:
Educational Leadership: Coordinate classroom teams to foster individual child growth and maintain developmentally appropriate educational plans.
Curriculum Delivery: Implement the Reggio Emilia approach, organizing a cohesive program that reflects the Center’s pedagogy through inquiry-based teaching.
Team Collaboration: Facilitate teamwork and co-create curricula; provide active feedback and guidance to team members to support professional excellence.
Compliance & Safety: Uphold DHS licensing regulations, PA Learning Standards, and NAEYC accreditation standards to ensure a safe, high-quality environment.
Family Engagement: Lead two-way communication with parents, fostering a school culture where families are full participants in their child’s learning journey.
Professional Growth: Commit to ongoing development by completing 24 hours of required professional training annually.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
OR a Bachelor’s degree including 30 relevant credit hours plus 1 year of experience with children.
Preferred: Master’s degree or certification in ECE/Leadership; prior experience in leadership roles.
Physicality: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, move play furniture, and maintain full supervision of children through sight and sound. Must pass a pre-employment physical and TB test.

Successful Background Checks
Child Protective Clearances for PA and any states of residence within the last five years.
