Business Operations Specialist, Senior needed by o9 Solutions, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [& various  unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to be responsible for solution  (Advanced Planning System) delivery, implementation, and design and interpretation of data to assist  management and leadership in rapid decision making and optimize their supply chain to efficiently serve  their customers and shareholders. Work on solution delivery through a variety of activities including  process design, data analytics, configurations and deployment, setting up and optimizing performance  metrics, and testing and building a knowledge center. Participate with design sessions with customer's BPEs  and align o9's product capabilities to their data and requirements. Set up As-IS and To-Be flowcharts by  adhering to industry best practices. Analyze areas of improvements. Prepare business impact case study.  Work with off-shore and on-shore teams to make sure the solution is configured as per design. Create test  cases to test the solution by working with the client's end users closely to understand how they will be using  the solution. Work on end to end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, testing of  solution, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Work with clients to get the data  including historical shipments, sales, inventory, network routes, other operations, etc. from their database,  excel sheets, etc. in feasible format for o9's product. Use knowledge of platform infrastructure to convert  the business need/logic into technical platform design. Work with Solution Architects and Directors to build  a detailed Solution Design Document, technical as well as functional and lay out clear data requirements  along with their mapping. Use mathematical models, predictivemethods, statistical techniques, optimization  algorithms, and simulations to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large enterprise data and provide business  insights and data visualization to the client management. Utilize statistical and optimization tools and  programming languages to conduct data integration through extraction, transformation, and loading into  client's ERP and create models to generate time series forecasts and operational plans. Ensure smooth  transition of the client from implementation phase to support phase by providing the needed documents and  help needed by the support team. Create and execute workflow and data analytics test-cases and document  issues and track progress at resolving issues. Design a testing protocol and implement it with support from  junior analysts with the end goal of automating testing. Work with client, cross-functional teams, IT, and  business stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of projects. Plan, develop, and deliver  Super User and End User training for a global user base. Apply knowledge of graph-based supply chain planning solutions and Advanced Planning Systems (APS). Lead a team through the full lifecycle of a  supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution delivery  and development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization. Utilize agile methodology to deliver  large scale enterprise implementations. Apply understanding of supply chain optimization, Supply Chain  Solver (SCS), connection between ERP and Advance Planning Systems (APS). Work on SQL databases.  Utilize programming languages including SQL and VBA. Work with an internal product team to bridge the  gap between the product architecture the industry needs based on experience gained in working directly  with the clients helping the product to be better suited for the industry.
