Job Description
The social media planner will be responsible for tracking and reporting social media efforts by our clients, and assisting in the planning, implementation, and execution for brand-appropriate social media strategies and campaigns. They will also be a primary point of contact and coordination for working with internal marketing, PR, and agency teams to support their present and future branding plans. This will ensure consistency in voice in developing a relevant and strong social media network.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate both existing and potential social media activities and opportunities for client base
- Plan, manage, and assist in execution of social media campaigns and day-to-day activities based on select clients plans and needs
- Work with client marketing teams to ensure social media tools are present and kept up-to-date
- Communicate and collaborate with client marketing teams (legal, customer service, e-commerce, etc.) to provide support to their initiatives and engaging in customer dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
- Develop and monitor benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of social media programs and report to clients
- Prepare reports to update internal and client staff on usage statistics
- Create and maintain a social media editorial calendar and schedule for each client
- Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional work experience (online marketing / media / public relations experience preferred)
- 1+years of in platform social experience (Twitter, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit)
- Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly and within a quick timeframe
- College degree
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and blogging networks – you will be screened by your social media presence!
- Strong project management, forecasting, and organizational skills
- Exceptional writing and grammatical skills specifically in communication with social network/blog audiences
- Outstanding technical and online research understanding
- Experience in communicating with an online audience and ability to act on their behalf
- Collaborative team player

Compensation Range: $46,500 - $68,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
