<div><strong><u>Position Summary</u></strong></div><div>The Construction Superintendent manages the day-to-day execution of assigned construction and reconstruction projects. This role coordinates customers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, schedules, and job-site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and to company quality standards.<br/><br/>
</div><div><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></div><ul>
<li>Conduct preconstruction meetings, confirm project scope, and set clear expectations with customers before work begins.</li>
<li>Build and manage project schedules; coordinate subcontractors, material suppliers, deliveries, and required jurisdictional inspections.</li>
<li>Provide daily field oversight, monitor progress, and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, purchase orders, local codes, and the approved scope of work.</li>
<li>Maintain quality standards through regular job-site inspections and promptly resolve production issues, deficiencies, and punch-list items.</li>
<li>Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams, provide project updates, and document all material job activities in the project file.</li>
<li>Identify work outside the contracted scope, prepare and execute change orders, and help protect project schedule and profitability.</li>
<li>Complete final walk-throughs, secure required completion and customer-satisfaction documentation, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor performance.</li>
</ul><div><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></div><ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required; additional construction or business education is a plus.</li>
<li>Minimum three years of experience managing residential construction, reconstruction, or restoration projects, including coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades; five or more years preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of construction methods, job-site safety, scheduling, materials, quality control, and local inspection processes.</li>
<li>Experience working directly with customers and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and project timelines.</li>
<li>Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and basic math skills.</li>
<li>Ability to read scopes of work, plans, specifications, estimates, and purchase orders; estimating experience is preferred</li>
<li>Established relationships with reliable subcontractors and vendors are a plus.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.</li>
</ul><div><strong><u>Schedule and Job-Site Requirements</u></strong></div><ul>
<li>Full-time position with frequent local driving and regular time at active job sites.</li>
<li>Ability to walk and stand throughout the day, occasionally climb ladders, and work safely in heat, noise, and other typical construction-site conditions.</li>

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
