We're also honored to have been named a Washington Post Top Workplace for six consecutive years.</p> <p><strong>About The Role</strong></p> <p>The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting and developing business relationships with potential clients and closing new broker sales agreements. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new broker sales opportunities, with a strong emphasis on independently generating activity. Success is supported by a consultative sales approach, effective prospecting techniques, persistence throughout the sales cycle, and a solid understanding of the value and impact of Employee Navigator’s solution being offered.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate net-new business opportunities, leveraging the company's expertise, industry profile, and market knowledge</li> <li>Schedule and present Employee Navigator's services to prospective broker clients</li> <li>Prepare and present proposals, with appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process</li> <li>Work directly with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for clients</li> <li>Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals and other sources</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships within the GA channel and other referral sources</li> <li>Maintain contact with existing customers to identify needs for additional services</li> <li>Attend trade shows and other events to promote Employee Navigator's services</li> <li>Maintain a deep understanding of the group benefits landscape, including carriers, brokers, general agents, and HCM platforms</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree from a four-year university</li> <li>3 to 5 years of experience in a sales position</li> <li>Experience in the benefits administration or HCM space is strongly preferred</li> <li>Proven track record of sales success&l
