DevOps Engineer- Intern

This is a remote position.

• Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of our application infrastructure using cloud-based technologies like AWS, AZURE, or Google Cloud.
• Work with the development team to ensure smooth deployment and integration of code changes.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipeline) for build, deployment, and testing processes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot them to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our application infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development and deployment processes.

• Using creative problem solving and successfully executing tasks
• Managing the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation processes that enable the company to deliver high-quality software applications to customers
• Ensuring that the infrastructure and applications are secure and comply with industry best practises and regulations.
• Document the infrastructure and deployment process to ensure that knowledge is shared and maintained within the team.

Requirements

• Experience and good understanding of software development, system administration, and operations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
