Join our 29 bed PCU/IMC Hematology-Oncology unit where we provide cutting edge treatments to our community. We are the only facility in Tucson that provides stem-cell transplants and CAR-T therapies as a potentially curative treatment.  When you join our team, you are provided with many opportunities for education and will become an expert in cancer care, chemotherapy administration, blood products and stem cell transplants.  This is a fast-paced environment with a range of nursing ratios anywhere from 2-5 patients.  What makes this team special is the comradery, engagement, and trusted relationships we share with our doctors, techs, pharmacists, and nurses. This unit culture is enhanced by our active Shared Leadership Council and we pride ourselves in process & quality improvement, inter-professional collaboration, and providing a team-oriented environment.

  • Full-time: 36 hours per week, 3 12-Hour Shifts

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

  • Must be available to work Holidays/Weekends

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
