We’re looking for a talented, self-directed Director of Product Marketing, Keynotes to lead the creation of executive content to drive Rubrik’s thought leadership in the market. This role will partner with engineering, product, marketing, and senior executives to create main stage keynotes, external and internal presentation materials, world-class demos, messaging documents, and other content that advance the thought leadership position of Rubrik worldwide. The candidate must be comfortable translating complex technologies into customer-ready materials, pay strong attention to detail, have a collaborative work style, an unparalleled work ethic, and both experience and confidence in working with executives. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in creating communication strategies and world-class content for Rubrik’s senior leadership team.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Partner with Rubrik’s executives to develop keynote presentations for main stage events - from developing themes and story arcs that introduce new services to providing onsite event support - with a meticulous attention to detail, a passion for preparation, and the ability to see around corners
• Develop a strong understanding of customer pain points with data security to help position and reinforce Rubrik’s differentiated value to customers
• Work with engineering and product teams to distill key functionality and benefits of Rubrik Security Cloud into compelling main-stage keynote content
• Provide messaging and presentation support for executive engagements
• Collaborate with the customer references team to identify and create compelling customer stories for keynote presentations
• Identify and support executive event activities - including narrative/theme development, speaker selection, content reviews and developing supporting abstracts, highlights and web copy as needed
• Work with outside agencies to develop compelling, top-notch creative for presentations
• Partner with technical marketing and Rubrik product teams to create mainstage demos
• Work with production teams to ensure successful execution of keynote presentations
• Travel, in the US and abroad, as necessary to support executive presentations

 

Experience you’ll need

• 12+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as marketing, technical marketing, developer marketing, consulting, training, or product management.
• Exceptional skills in creating differentiated, hard-hitting product positioning and company messaging
• Proven track record in constructing executive presentations and keynotes
• Creative thinker that can generate and execute on innovative ideas
• Strong eye for design in creating presentation materials
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US Pay Range$200,000—$300,000 USD
