Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination - Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and logistics. Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure timelines are met.
- Client Communication - Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the moving process.
- Team Collaboration - Work closely with project managers, moving crews, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
- Vendor Management - Coordinate with vendors and service providers, ensuring that all necessary equipment, materials, and services are available when needed.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports. Assist in preparing project status reports and post-move evaluations.
- Problem Solving - Identify potential issues and assist in developing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Budget Management - Monitor project expenses and assist in ensuring that projects stay within budget.
- Quality Control - Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that all aspects of the move meet quality and safety standards.
- Compliance - Ensure all activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience - 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the commercial moving or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Certifications:** PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by project schedules.
- Capability to perform site visits and supervise moving activities on location.
