Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure IT leader with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience and execution success. You will be responsible for driving the Global Business and Engineering IT Infrastructure strategy, vision, and execution for our organization. You will lead a team of IT professionals across diverse and matrixed organizational boundaries to achieve superior results in IT Infrastructure strategy development, implementation, and operational execution. This leadership position demands a deep understanding of IT Infrastructure centered around Global Business, Manufacturing and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools, analog/mixed-signal design, and SoC development processes.  This role will also partner with the EDA Application Leader to optimize design flow efficiencies via optimal use of IT Infrastructure. This is a highly technical leadership position that requires strong expertise and experience in Security, Networking, Storage, Cloud/On-premise High Performance Computing, and EDA Licensing. You will also collaborate with executive-level stakeholders to align with business objectives and deliver value to our customers.

Responsibilities

This is a unique opportunity to take the lead on Global Business and Engineering IT infrastructure strategy and execution. This will involve envisioning and executing on our Business and EDA roadmap while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•    Participate in all strategic operational processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team
•    Develop and maintain the appropriate organizational structure and personnel to support the IT infrastructure requirements of the global organization
•    Develop and execute the IT strategy, vision, and roadmap for the organization
•    Hands-on experience in operationalizing infrastructure strategy across the business, manufacturing and engineering organizations
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine EDA tool flows, optimizing efficiency and productivity through optimal use of IT infrastructure (i.e., servers, networking, storage, and licensing)
•    Collaborate with the CISO to ensure proper cybersecurity governance and controls across all elements of the EDA infrastructure
•    Sustain a comprehensive resiliency plan to backup and recover critical systems in the event of a cyber-attack, natural disaster, or hardware failures
•    Leverage High Performance Cloud Computing to scale and/or extend the internal infrastructure to support high demand
•    Leverage Automation (i.e., scripts, software tools, standardization) to maximize efficiencies across the environment
•    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in IT and EDA tools
•    Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure function and its resources, including budget, staff, vendors, and contracts
•    Work with EDA vendors to improve scheduler efficiency and job license/resource utilization
•    Design and manage the strategy to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment and future growth
•    Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the business and customers
•    Drive innovation and transformation in IT infrastructure to support the growth and competitiveness of the organization
•    Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and excellence within the IT team and across the organization
