Associate Mechanical Engineer

<div class="content-intro"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Summary</u></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Creates and modifies detail, assembly, and installation drawings and related documentation using 2D and 3D CAD tools under general guidance while exercising independent judgment in design decisions.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Generates complete documentation packages: detail/assembly/installation drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), material specifications, GD&amp;T tolerances, finish requirements, and trim/fastener detail.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Selects design solutions (materials, geometry, sequencing) and assesses trade-offs for manufacturability, cost, weight, quality, and schedule.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participates in design reviews and provide input on improvements, feasibility, and risk; propose design alternatives when obstacles arise.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manages work within project schedules and budget constraints; anticipate conflicts or delays; exercises independent judgment in prioritizing tasks.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintains professional development by working closely with lead engineers, staying current with CAD tools, drawing standards, design methodologies, and industry best practices.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborates across teams and ensures compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards throughout the engineering lifecycle.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong><u>Competencies</u></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">To perform the job succes
