Job Description

This role requires a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional with a track record of success overseeing global payable accounting operations. In this position, you will partner with payables team leads to provide guidelines, ensure compliances and adherence to company policies. This role will be responsible to oversee ERP systems and controls, partner with other business functions on projects, lead corporate initiatives towards process improvement and transformational projects to achieve best in class results, and develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate must possess effective communication and interaction skills as well as enjoys working in a rapidly evolving, challenging, and fast paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solid knowledge of procure-to-pay process, including ERP system end-to-end process, accounts payable and understanding of goods received and invoice received, and procurement module.
  • Subject matter expert on new bank account-payment configuration and implementation, train global teams and instruct assigned IT resources.
  • Corporate lead and guide global accounts payable teams for process improvement and systems stabilization, enhancement, and business transformation.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve any payable escalation and other matters.
  • Develop, document, update standard operating procedures, and global policies and procedures as assigned.
  • Partner with global accounts payable teams, and international Shared Service Center teams to provide necessary advisory on payables, payments, P-cards programs, and others.
  • AP-US compliance, participate on an advisory level with internal and external audits.
  • Work closely with cross-functional business partners at all levels across global finance and accounting, procurement, receiving/warehouse, treasury, tax, and others.
  • Manage segregation of duties roles, internal controls, and SOX requirements

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of accounting experience in a multinational global company and shared services center.
  • End to end full cycle accounting operations experience.
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle is a must. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP a plus
  • Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Outstanding performer, high integrity, teamwork, committed, and flexible.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter, works independently, deals with ambiguity, exercises prudent judgment.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct business and perform responsibilities in an ethical manner.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal personnel and/or external contacts.
