Director, Finance Privacy

If you are passionate about making privacy a strategic advantage, shaping the future of secure, responsible tech and leading a well-rounded and passionate team of privacy SMEs, this is the job for you!  The Finance and Corporate Services team is seeking a strategic and experienced Privacy Director, with broad experience in employee and customer privacy to lead our global privacy initiatives through Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), emphasizing automation, data-driven insights and AI-powered decision-making. 

The Director, Finance Privacy is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the organization’s privacy program along with providing strategic guidance on privacy compliance and best practices to internal stakeholders. This role will collaborate with leadership to integrate privacy considerations into business teams and prepare and present regular reports to leadership on the status of the privacy program. The Director of Finance and Corporate Services Privacy plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s privacy maturity and compliance posture, acting as a trusted advisor and leading the transformation of the privacy operations through streamlining and automation.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Governance 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of regulatory and audit requirements 

• Leading the Finance and Corporate Services Global privacy program and providing operational expertise related to data privacy and protection. 

• Coordinating with cross-functions partners and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of privacy functions 

• Providing sound privacy compliance advice to all aspects of the business as a subject matter expert 

• Board member representing Finance Privacy on the Employee Data Governance Board. 

• People Management & Team Development 

• Managing privacy operations and risk management initiatives to protect data assets and information 

• Coordinating with cross-functions partners and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of privacy functions <
