AWS Senior Architecture Consultant

The Senior Architecture Consultant proactively supports the delivery of multi-technology consulting services to clients by analysing and providing more strategies and solutions on all aspects of infrastructure and related technology components.

This role works on the development of the architectural approach for one or more layer of a complex solution and reviews the developed infrastructure to ensure that it aligns to roadmaps and adherence to architecture principles.

This role deals with clients who have complex information technology environments.

Working at NTT

 

• Work with clients and NTT stakeholders on discovering, understanding and scoping based on customer requirements and applying those requirements to AWS best practices, core architecture and services.
• Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable environments suitable for client applications on AWS.
• Support NTT Teams and Customers in migration of complex, multi-tier applications to AWS.
• Understand and be able to use appropriate cost-control strategies when designing and deploying AWS environments.
• Conduct regular technology related reviews with client and teams.
• Proactively support the development of new strategies and solutions.
• Support the pre-sales process.
• Assist in selling solutions and services as identified.
• Foster good relationship with clients, vendors and partners.
• Maintain, improve and share knowledge related to the information technology industry
• Coach and train Associate and Senior Associate Consultants.
• Support research and investigation of emerging AWS technologies and the best practices associated with them.
• Continuously support to the improvement of internal effectiveness by contributing to improvement current methodologies, processes and tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Expert level knowledge in AWS discovery, architecture and deployment
• Knowledge of and ability to execute on zero trust principles of design.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
• Excellent understanding of multi-technology infrastructure design couple with strategic thinking ability
• Knowledge on multi-technology infrastructure design best practice which enables NTT to act as trusted advisors to clients on optimal infrastructure designs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Extensive knowledge of systems, software and programming languages
• Ability to focus on detail with an understanding of how it impacts the business strategically
• Excellent client service orientation
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business
• Ability to create new and repeat business for the organisation
• Able to contribute to practice development and business development to a limited extent

• Able to contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by contributing to the improvement of current methodologies, processes and tools
• Able to travel to client sites for meetings or for project based work.
