💰 $250,000/yr($200,000/yr – $250,000/yr)
About the role
Steadily is an insurtech that insures landlords. We're two years old, just over 100 people, manage $6B in risk, and are intent on becoming the best and largest insurer of rental properties.
We exist to deliver fast, affordable insurance and to pay claims quickly and fairly. To do that, we hire the best for each role to build the experience that we'd want if we were a client.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to design and build products that our clients love.
What You’ll Do:
- Own a product area and its vision: You will own the definition of the problems your products solve and measure success.
- Collaborate and Execute: You’ll make informed trade-offs to partner with your team for the delivery of crucial features. As you design those features, you understand constraints, validate the opportunity, collaborate to brainstorm on possible solutions, and leverage user research to arrive at a high-fidelity design of what you're going to build. You will analyze feature performance and communicate learnings.
- Embrace Design: Iterate on designs until you've arrived at a magical solution that will delight our customers. Figma is our tool of choice.
- Launch and Learn: Own the successful rollout of new products and key features, including gathering feedback from stakeholders and early customers to validate the value of new releases.
Ideal Background:
- Experience: This isn't your first rodeo. There's no specific minimum number of years requirement, but we expect you have a track record of demonstrating leadership and delivering product wins. You are comfortable diving into your onboarding to understand your target persona(s), the core business problems to be solved, and partnering with engineering to understand the team backlog.
- Effective and Dynamic Communications: You excel at tailoring your message to your audience. As you combine your business acumen, technical expertise, and metrics to tell a story – you know how to shift your message and how you speak to match your audience, whether that’s standup to an all hands meeting to a call with an external partner.
- Customer Obsession and Product Passion: You have a history of advocating relentlessly for your customers. Deep appreciation for user-centered design, paired with a healthy respect for the business and hunger to build products with quantifiable impact for the company.
- Previous product management experience at a software company, cloud technology experience strongly encouraged. Prior insurance experience not required.
Compensation:
- Total compensation around $200,000 - $250,000
- Equity in the company
- Employer healthcare contribution
- 401K
- Flexible Time Off
- Health (HSA or FSA), vision, and dental insurance
Location:
- Austin, TX
- We're in-office 4 days a week, Wednesday are no-meeting-days company-wide
