Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Project Manager/ Project Controls to develop and enhance Project Performance reports/dashboards in collaboration with others EC PMs and the Operations Manager.

Working virtually and at the AECOM’s Madrid office (hybrid work environment) within the Enterprise Capabilities (EC) group.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop and enhance Project Performance reports/dashboards in collaboration with other PMs defining, tracking and measuring Project Performance with Earned Value technics.
  • Develop and enhance EC Europe financial reports/dashboards and other business reports in collaboration with Operations Manager.
  • Manage international projects that will involve:
    • projects with a full spectrum of services and other complexities, including all project phases (from beginning to close out)
    • coordination with clients and other stakeholders
    • close contact and coordination with design managers
    • good control of schedule and project performance using Earned Value technics
    • leadership and communication skills to lead coordination meetings, internal and with the client.
  • Develop reports to support strategic priorities, such as pipeline, wins, losses, awarded backlog, bookings, revenue, margin, outlook, and other KPIs as required. Incorporating data from multiple platforms.
  • Drive data quality by proactively identifying and addressing data gaps and training needs.
  • Management of databases, operation metrics, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 years of overall experience in civil engineering with 1-2 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within teams or in a wider collaboration.
  • Critical thinking, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Good use of Excel (macros, queries and VBA), Power BI and MS Office including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Flexibility. Must be able to work independently, and exercise good judgment
  • Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with a high volume of transactions.
  • Ability to perform and deliver under tight deadlines.

Desired Requirements:

  • CAPM, PMP or other PM certification will be considered favorably.
  • Database experience (SQL...) along with PowerApps capability will be considered favorably.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
