Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for an Air Dominance F/A-18 Manufacturing Manager (Level K) in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate high performing teams of employees on the production line. This position is listed for 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 1+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft
• Active US Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance, specifically F/A-18 platforms
• Experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or union represented workforce
• Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

Summary pay range: USD $96,900 – $131,100
