We are a top leader in the Twin Cities of custom design, installation and maintenance of Commercial Interior, Exterior and Holiday Décor.  We are currently hiring Exterior Team members!  Come join our Team!   McCaren Designs' primary business is exterior landscaping which involves installing plants and flowers in exterior settings. And the maintenance of plants, flowers and turf.

PURPOSE

• The purpose of this procedure is to establish the authority, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties, and measurement of performance for the Installer

1.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure the success of McCaren Designs, Inc.
• To help McCaren Designs get and keep profitable customers to ensure the success of McCaren Designs.
• To provide your full support to your co-workers, helping them secure the success of McCaren Designs.
• To ensure all McCaren Designs external and internal customers' needs are met and they are delighted with our/your service.

2.0 BASIC FUNCTION

• Deliver and install plants and flowers as needed for replacements and new installations.
• The maintenance of plants, flowers and turf.
• Promote and maintain good public relations with customers on the job site.

1. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
   • Reports to and takes direction from the Exterior Crew Leader and the Exterior Operations Manager.

4.0 REQUIREMENTS

1-Education:

• • • Required: High School diploma
    • Preferred: Community College degree or its equivalent. 2-Licensing:
    • Required: Department of Transportation Physical
    • Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving record 3-Experience:
    • A minimum of one-year experience in the same or related industry is preferred.
    • Interior experience will be considered for cross training

5-Physical:

• • • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
    • Ability to climb ladders inclines stairs and scaffolds.
    • Ability to push and pull 500 pound objects on castors up and down inclines.
    • Ability to walk extensively.
    • Ability to perform extensive trunk movements, including bending and rotation.
    • Ability to perform low level work including crawling, kneeling and squatting.
    • Ability to perform fine finger movements including use of hand tools such as scissors and pruners.
    • Ability to work from high ledges, ladders and cat walks.
    • Senses required: visual, hearing, speaking.

6-Mental:

• • • Language: Fluent spoken and written English.
    • Mechanical: Knowledge of the horticultural business or ability to learn.

5.0 WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Majority of the time is spent outside of the office working at customer's properties. Some time is spent in the office, attending meetings
• Exposure to a variety of plant species which may cause allergic reactions.
• Exposure to toxic chemicals including, but not limited to, fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and miticides.

6.0 HOURS

• Starting time will vary from day to day. Most days will begin at between 6 and 7:00 AM. Length of workday depends on workload and may exceed eight hours. Saturday and
