Expert Database Developer - TS/SCI FSP

Responsibilities:

• Provide operations and maintenance (O&M) and database development for legacy databases for Sponsor systems to include the enterprise API Gateway, EDW and new modern databases consistent with the Sponsor’s business data strategy.
• Provide support for deployment packaging, system maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain sustainability and reliability of the Sponsor’s systems and applications.
• Ensure that all development and modifications to existing Sponsor applications and databases comply with Sponsor’s security and architectural policies and regulations.
• Communicate and collaborate across organizational boundaries, to include other contractor teams.
• Work with Sponsor staff and contractor personnel, as well as external stakeholders.
• Execute design and creation of database systems that enable storage and smooth retrieval of data.
• Ensure the smooth and secure running of the Sponsor’s enterprise database systems.
• Execute project management principles utilizing the Sponsor’s agile methodology framework.
• Provide a total systems perspective, including understanding of project relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Demonstrated experience with Tableau and COGNOS for reporting presentation.
• Demonstrated experience developing and interfacing with Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
• Demonstrated experience performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier.
• Demonstrated experience developing, creating, and modifying data structure and data load routines for analytic use cases.
• Demonstrated experience working with relational data tiers including cleansing, transforming and processing of structured data.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Demonstrated experience working with views, triggers and Oracle PL and SQL.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, etc.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile project management model.

**In addition, candidates must possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.**
