Experienced Maintenance Supervisor

The REMM Group is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and support our beautiful community located in Buena Park CA.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and the overall condition and repair of the asset. This position includes managing the day-to-day operations of a property from repairs, make-ready processes, Capital projects, and preventative maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Project management of capital improvement projects
• Supervise the maintenance team and ensure everyone has been trained for their position.
• Inspects the property daily for liability issues, maintenance needs, curb appeal and takes appropriate action.
• Contribute to the achievement of financial goals through input and assistance in the administration of the capital and operating maintenance budgets.
• Inventory management
• Coordinate with vendors at the property to ensure the job is to REMM standards
• Communicate with the Business Manager to ensure work is complete and costs are in line with the budget
• Ability to take after-hours emergency calls
• Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency issues
• Communicate with excellent customer service to team and residents

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 4 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• HVAC, Appliance Repair, Plumbing, Electrical, Cleaning, Drywall, and Painting required.
• Great communication skills.
• Must have dependable transportation, and be able to accommodate an on-call schedule.
