The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization supporting the Executive Fleet Team in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives
Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
Ensures the assigned team is executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans
Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management. Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of experience leading or managing complex, cross-functional teams
5+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems
Experience in a role that required teaming and collaboration skills, and ability to work well with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team
5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) process and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Federal & DoD government services policies, guidance and regulations
Experience in a business or engineering related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Engineering, Staffing)
