The Executive Director, Market Access Analytics role is part of the Commercial Strategy and Insights and Analytics (CSI&A) team. This role will oversee a team responsible for generating actionable insights from a broad set of market access data sources, to inform business decisions. The role will partner with and serve as a strategic advisor for Market Access team leaders and will grow and develop talent within the CSI&A Market Access Analytics team.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Lead and mentor the CSI&A Market Access Analytics team of data analysts and scientists in providing actionable insights to inform key market access decisions for existing and pipeline products
Lead thinking, development and delivery of potential analytics approaches to deliver rich insights to solve business problems
Serve as a member of the CSI&A leadership team to drive cross-commercial innovation and best-in-class delivery
Translate complex analyses into compelling insights and recommendations for business decision-making
Develop people from both a functional skills and leadership perspective, with the goal of growing internal talent
Continue development and optimization of the Market Access Performance (MAP) platform to deliver insights for internal and field stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access teams (including Strategy, Pricing, Field Reimbursement, Trade, Patient Support Services), Brand teams and IT to align insights with business needs; ensure insight generation and feedback are embraced; strike a balance between project rigor, timelines and ability to influence decisions
Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and contribute to long-term data and analytics roadmap
Oversee analytics to support market access and GPO contracting needs within the Commercial Business Units (CBUs) Work with other CSI&A
Leads to develop standardized adoption of capabilities such as data science, patient/treatment flow modeling, analog modeling and AI/ML methodologies across Regeneron’s commercial business

Work with other CSI&A Leads to develop standardized adoption of capabilities such as data science, patient/treatment flow modeling, analog modeling and AI/ML methodologies across Regeneron’s commercial business
HUB program patient status (reimbursement, financial [copay], PAP/free goods)
GPO contract analytics (site, account, account group, PE group)
Payer and plan demographics and formulary access across all channels
Patient-level medical and pharmacy claims
Trade distribution and direct customer claims
Leverage prior experience with integration and provisioning of specialty pharmacy and market access data sources to make it analytics-ready (e.g., data aggregation protocol, tokenization, payer spine compatibility, etc.)
Use AI/ML models to identify access barriers, patient adherence risks, and performance trends at the account level
Manage third-party vendor relationships
To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, public health, statistics, or a related field; Master’s (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred. 20+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial experience, in roles of increasing accountability; prior experience with Market Access and Specialty Pharmacy analytics required. Demonstrated ability to blend business acumen, technical expertise and leadership experience to lead a team delivering data-driven solutions across the specialty product lifecycle. Strong understanding of specialty distribution (SP and SD), HUB services, payer coverage, GPO contracting, rebate structures and buy-and-bill and specialty distribution models.
