Clarendale at Bellevue Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused full time Executive Chef to join our team! This position is responsible for full-scope, hands on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department.  Is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times. The ideal candidate is professional in appearance and communication, with excellent customer service skills and a positive upbeat attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Plan, staff, organize and coordinate the preparation of all meals in all levels of care
• Monitor the quality and consistency of the food
• Ensure compliance with Resident dietary restrictions
• Give instructions to cooking staff in fine points of cooking
• Involved in food inventory
• Conduct regular Quality Assurance Audits
   

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Chef/Kitchen Manager in a food service environment
• One year of hospitality or senior living/housing industry preferred
