As the Executive Assistant to the Co-Chairman of the Technology Companies Business Unit, you will not only provide high-level administrative support, coordination, and project management, but will also have close interaction with external clients and all levels of firm management.
What You’ll Do:
• Handle everything from complex scheduling to the resolution of unforeseen problems requiring immediate management
• Act as the first point-of-contact for key internal and external clients
• Receive phone calls, meeting requests, and correspondences. Determine the nature of the request/urgency and either answer or refer to the appropriate persons
• Arrange internal and external meetings and events, preparing stakeholder ahead of time with an agenda or full briefing
• Routine and complex document preparation and proofing, including correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets
• Electronic file setup and management
• Accurate timekeeping and billing
• Develop knowledge of all contacts and protocols, handling requests for information
Who You Are:
• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years’ experience supporting senior level executives required, professional services organization preferred
• Working knowledge of the technology industry a plus but not required
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed
• Superb oral and written communication skills
• Consummate professional with stellar interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships within the department, with clients, and across the global organization
• Must have experience handling confidential and sensitive information and must always exercise discretion and sound judgement
• Adept at multitasking and prioritizing projects
• Experience working both independently and as an effective and engaged team-member
• Exhibits initiative and sees tasks through to completion
• Understanding that stakeholders days may extend beyond business hours and, as consequence, yours may as well;
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire Microsoft Suite at an expert level
