Excavator Operator – AJ Perri

Pay: $35-$40.00 per hourFull-time, year-round work

Responsibilities

 Job Duties:

 

• Operate backhoe or shovel to dig for sewer, water, and gas line repair/install
• Break concrete for excavation
• Assist technician during repairs
• Backfill and restore serviced areas (grade, seed, clean)
• Remove old lines for new system installs
• Check flow/function of lines before closing site
• Obtain customer approval when required
• Transport materials/tools and account for equipment
• Maintain/fuel vehicle and stock truck

Qualifications

• CDL-A - A MUST
• Prior experience operationg a mini-excavator or backhoe - A MUST
• Prior plumbing and drain cleaning experience/exposure is a plus!
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required
• The ability to work evenings and weekends with minimal supervision required.
