Event Coordinator

SoLa Impact, a family of social impact, real estate funds focused on affordable housing is looking for an Event Coordinator to help us plan and execute memorable events that will showcase our groundbreaking work. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently, while representing SoLa Impact’s core values and mission of creating positive social impact in low-income communities. This role will report to our Head of Communications.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Head of Events to plan and coordinate all of SoLa Impact's events, including groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, educational and charitable events, and other programs.
- Drive event participation, manage timelines, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors including event planners, decorators, caterers, and other suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage all event logistics, including space planning, talent scheduling, speaker preparation, multimedia support, event registration, and attendee management.
- Set, communicate, and maintain timelines and priorities on every project.
- Contribute ideas to improve services and event quality.
- Evaluate event success and ensure ROI targets or other KPIs are met.
- Oversee post-event evaluations and coordination
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably for a real estate company.
- Experience working with vendors, coordinating logistics, and managing budgets.
- Strong project management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies for event coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
