About the role

As a Chef de partie and be responsible for a specific kitchen section and handle everything from preparation to the final presentation of dishes. You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Senior Head Chef’s in the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation. Responsibilities: • Preparing, cooking and presenting menu items to the required standard; • Managing an assigned kitchen section and coordinating service with the wider kitchen team; • Monitoring food quality, portion control, stock rotation, allergens and waste; • Following HACCP, food safety, hygiene, cleaning and health and safety procedures; • Assisting with stock checks, deliveries, menu preparation and kitchen records; • Supporting and supervising junior kitchen staff within the Employee’s competence; and • Carrying out other reasonable duties consistent with the role, skills and employment permit. The role is in a restaurant establishment and is not employment in a fast-food outlet. The Employee confirms that the qualifications and experience supplied for the permit application are accurate.
