ETF Specialist – Development Team (FWS/NFWS)

As an ETF Student Specialist with the Development Team, you will participate in activities that strengthen the University’s relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners while gaining exposure to investment-related projects. You may be involved in efforts to raise capital for an ethical and faith-based ETF. This role provides opportunities to develop professional skills in outreach, event participation, and strategic networking. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, eager to contribute to Advancement initiatives while expanding their understanding of fundraising and capital-related projects.

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:

• Assist with outreach and prospecting efforts to support ETF-related initiatives.
• Participate in training sessions and skill-building opportunities.
• Attend select on campus networking events, lunches, or donor meetings.
• Contribute to relationship development with potential supporters and partners.
• Help track and document activities in alignment with project goals.
• Support capital development activities for ETF initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for engagement.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support for related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• MS Office Suite
• Canva
• Asana (or similar project management tools)
• Virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
 

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a GCU student (undergraduate or graduate).

• In good academic standing with the University.

• Strong interest in learning and contributing to Advancement and development projects.

• Reliable, motivated, and willing to take initiative.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new tools.

Experience/ Education:

Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

Pay rate: Minimum Wage
