ETF Specialist – Development Team (FWS/NFWS)

As an ETF Student Specialist with the Development Team, you will participate in activities that strengthen the University’s relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners while gaining exposure to investment-related projects. You may be involved in efforts to raise capital for an ethical and faith-based ETF. This role provides opportunities to develop professional skills in outreach, event participation, and strategic networking. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, eager to contribute to Advancement initiatives while expanding their understanding of fundraising and capital-related projects.
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
- Assist with outreach and prospecting efforts to support ETF-related initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions and skill-building opportunities.
- Attend select on campus networking events, lunches, or donor meetings.
- Contribute to relationship development with potential supporters and partners.
- Help track and document activities in alignment with project goals.
- Support capital development activities for ETF initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for engagement.
- Provide general administrative and logistical support for related projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- MS Office Suite
- Canva
- Asana (or similar project management tools)
- Virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a GCU student (undergraduate or graduate).
In good academic standing with the University.
Strong interest in learning and contributing to Advancement and development projects.
Reliable, motivated, and willing to take initiative.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new tools.
Experience/ Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay rate: Minimum Wage
