Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The primary focus for this role is to execute trade orders in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) market and evaluates market volatility in order to ensure that clients obtain the best possible price. You will apply complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.
What will you do?
- Perform with a high level of accuracy when executing orders for customers per their instructions.
- Monitor emails for equity/ option trade breaks and settlement issues
- Monitor trading systems for rejected orders and orders that need special handling
- Monitor stocks of interest for our broker clients.
- Continually provides FA’s, Assistants and Institutional Clients with solutions for attaining desired results involving trade execution.
- Write and distribute Morning Equity Trading News
- Work with other traders in a highly stressful environment and in close proximity to other traders
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Detailed understanding of the equity and options markets
- Understanding of the retail broker function
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in an inherently stressful environment.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Series 7, Series 63 (66), Series 57 (or equivalent 55)
Nice-to-have
- Series 4 (Options Principal)
- Considering candidates within market area.
- College degree
- Knowledge of RBC Systems – Fidessa, Broadridge/ADP
- Equity/ Options trading experience

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $85,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
