Brief team/department description:

At Azurity Pharmaceuticals, we are bringing new medication solutions to patients that are overlooked. To ensure that we remain best in class, we have several critical finance related projects that require project management expertise. These projects require cross functional communication and dedicated project plans utilized through the Azurity Management System. A Program Director within the Enterprise Project Management Office will be responsible for leading cross functional teams through the action items necessary to bring dedicated alignment and completion of the project that the Program Director is responsible for. The ideal candidate will be able to hold teams accountable whilst immersing oneself into the project to meet the overarching deliverable. Our mission is to serve overlooked patients, and we only achieve that with an enthusiastic Program Directors who can execute effectively and efficiently. 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring process discipline throughout the PLM process through consistent, rigorous application of the Management System. Train team members as needed.
    • Manage products through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process across stages 1-9 (‘cradle to grave’), Support A3 cross-functional teams. Manage adherence to stage-gate criteria at each stage.
    • Define objectives, scope, deliverables, interdependencies and timelines at all stages of the PLM process with all cross- functional stakeholders
      • Meeting setup, meeting quality and adherence to meeting cadence
      • Author for all asset A3s
      • Drive action items to closure ensuring cross functional owners are held accountable for completing responsible action items
      • Check adherence to stage-gate requirements
    • Lead launch planning pre-approval activities:
      • Naming product, securing URL, informing Legal to submit trademark name
    • Develop high familiarity with product launch activities so as to be able to coordinate the complex interplay of launch activities at PLM5
    • Manage and coordinate logo/labelling development with internal and external stake holders. Provide timely support for FDA queries.
    • Connect the dots between activities, identify missed actions or interdependencies and sanity-check decisions for unforeseen consequences. Drive continuous improvement in process.
    • Integration of licensed/acquired products into PLM process
    • Maintain RACIs for all PLM stages
    • Maintain documentation repository across stage gates

  • 10+ years project management experience
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Masters degree or equivalent is preferred
