Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of the planning, developing, evaluation and delivery of end-user training for Epic applications and related health information systems.  The Trainer will be responsible for learning Epic Module functionality, partnering with Applications Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to learn end-user workflows, and demonstrating a clear understanding of the business or clinical requirements of various user groups.  The Trainer will be responsible for developing training materials used during training sessions, participating in the development and administration of online eLearning materials, and preparing data in the Epic Training system for hands-on training including data for test patients and training scenarios.  The Trainer will deliver training to existing end users as well as new employee and contractors during employee/contractor onboarding. 

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
 Minimum:
•    Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or has a Bachelor’s degree in any field OR has Information Technology experience OR has experience in a healthcare related field.

Desired:
•    4 year degree from an accredited university
•    Experience participating in enterprise software implementations

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Ability to learn Epic Module functionality and obtain certification in assigned module(s).  Works in collaborative partnership with Applications Analysts and Subject Matter Experts.  Must have the ability to understand and document end-user workflows, business and clinical processes, and understand the requirements of various user groups.  Ability to create and maintain educational materials and eLearning content.  Working knowledge of IT project management fundamentals.  Must organize, prioritize and ensure completion of assigned work.  Ability to actively participate in project meetings.   Ability to deliver training to large groups in a classroom setting as well as one-on-one learning sessions.  Strong communication skills; ability to interact with end-users with a broad range of computing, clinical, and business skills.  Ability to work varied shifts.  Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
