About the role:
- Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) – Full Time
- Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to individuals and families.
- Facilitate strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and collaborative case planning.
- Assist clients in accessing practical, financial, and therapeutic resources.
- Conduct client intake & triage when required
- Work closely with internal teams and external partner organisations to ensure holistic support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or eligibility for professional registration).
- Demonstrated experience in casework, including risk management in areas such as child protection, domestic/family violence (DFV), and suicide or self-harm.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Current NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of Jewish culture/values, or fluency in Russian or Hebrew.
The caseworker will primarily be responsible for providing casework support for people 65+.
Due to this the candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Sound understanding of the My Aged Care system, including the client pathway, referral processes, and service eligibility.
- Familiarity with Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP), and assessment types (Regional Assessment Service (RAS) and Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT)
