Environmental Services Supervisor

We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will play an important role in organizing and overseeing the ongoing and day-to-day operations of Housekeeping and Laundry Services that meet or exceed Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

• Assess and evaluate cleanliness of the facilities on a daily basis. 
• Inspect rooms and buildings to determine that environmental care standards are maintained
• Monitor infection control practices followed by staff
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and monitor staff in these areas daily
•  Maintain manuals and instructions for housekeeping policies and procedures to include training of new employees and adherence to Housekeeping and Laundry procedures.
• Perform general office tasks as required.
• Source, hire, supervise, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to direct reports, as needed.

 What you’ll bring:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum two-year related experience
• Requires proficient ability to speak, read and write
• Requires knowledge of housekeeping and laundry machinery required to accomplish job
• Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under BMM/Buckner’s insurance Must be at least age 21 to drive on behalf of the Company.
• Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time. Requires ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies throughout the facility. Position requires bending, stooping, and climbing stairs.
