About the Role
JBS Dinmore is currently seeking a reliable and physically capable Environmental Officer to assist in maintaining and enhancing our outdoor spaces over day, night and weekends. As an Environmental Officer you will supervise a team of Environmental Labourers who conduct manual labour tasks to ensure the upkeep of gardens, lawns, and grounds.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manual gardening tasks (mowing, pruning, weeding, watering)
- Yard waste management and disposal
- Planting, mulching, and fertilizing
- Assisting with irrigation system maintenance
- Operating handheld gardening equipment (trimmers, edger’s, etc.)
- Collaborating with other gardeners and maintenance staff
- Operating the Waste water treatment plant
- Strong data and computer skills
About You
- Physically capable of undertaking manual labour
- Basic gardening knowledge and skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Access to reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Valid driver's license
Please note: You will be required to work varying shifts (morning, afternoon, weekends) and some overtime may be required.

Located near Ipswich, in southeast Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 2,500 people.
