As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Manager the work you do will drive the prevention of incidents and illnesses through the development, improvement, and implementation of EHS processes and programs including high-risk-activity management, emergency response, and EHS standards and procedures. You will work to ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is achieved by identifying risks and unsafe practices, implementing controls to mitigate risk, monitoring performance, and compliance with Microsoft standards and applicable regulations. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As an EHS Program Manager you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. - This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ
- Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates are required to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
- This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%.

Responsibilities
As an EHS Program Manager you will have the opportunity to positively influence the Operations and Construction Teams supporting Microsoft’s key services within Microsoft Datacenters. You will be responsible for providing EHS Program development, support, and leadership by:
- Identifying and assessing EHS risks and developing and deploying standardized programs, procedures and tools to mitigate risk.
- Developing written EHS programs, procedures, and documentation to support effective implementation of a comprehensive EHS Management System.
- Tracking, analyzing and communicating EHS performance metrics to drive action, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implementing a comprehensive EHS verification and validation program, and conducting EHS inspections/assessments/audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to continually improve programs and processes by developing new and innovative solutions and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Creating and delivering training on EHS requirements and best practices
- Developing and implementing a communication framework to educate and build internal awareness of EHS and to improve Safety Culture
- Monitoring, interpreting and communicating summaries of standards and regulatory requirements to assure compliance and proactive management of risk.
