Env Services Asst-Lead

SUMMARY

As a Lead Environmental Services Assistant, your leadership ability combined with your excellent communication skills allows you to guide your team in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for personnel and patients.

STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: Clifton Springs Hospital

DEPARTMENT: Environmental Services

SCHEDULE: 3pm to 11:30pm

ATTRIBUTES

• Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in cleaning 
• Prioritize and follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be a proven leader and possess excellent customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership. Assign work to other members of the team, providing oversight and support; mentor and train new employees to reach department standards; enforce the seven-step cleaning process; provide input and recommendations regarding team member performances; serve as a resource to staff in resolving complex issues; recommend and seek out areas of improvement 
• Scheduling. Complete a waste or linen removal schedule; use daily cleaning sheets, common area sheets and unit/discharge cleaning sheets specific to area
• Equipment Management. Evaluate broken equipment and perform maintenance work orders; may perform any of the duties of the Facilities Tech; may deploy and operate the Ultraviolet Light cleaning machine

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$17.75 - $23.03Clifton Springs14432

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
