Entry-level Air Compliance Engineer or Scientist

What we are looking for

We are looking for a passionate Entry-Level Air Compliance Engineer or Scientist to join our Bedford, Texas office, and take the lead on all air quality permitting and compliance requirements for the solid waste industry.

How you can make an impact

• Prepare streamlined Title V, Subchapter U, and permit-by-rule certifications in Texas.
• Title V and pre-construction permitting in some other states.
• Apply NSPS/NSEHAPS requirements at landfills.
• Perform detailed emissions calculations.
• Prepare annual emission inventories and greenhouse gas reporting.
• Analyze new rules and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with existing staff at SCS Engineers and assist clients in complying with other environmental media programs (NPDES, SPCC, RCRA)
• Help with compliance audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in the physical sciences, or engineering (civil preferred) required.
• 3 months of relevant environmental or engineering internship, work or research experience required.
• Air Quality experience or coursework.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required.

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
