Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their digital transformation goals and determine the best technical solutions to achieve these objectives.
  • Develop architecture and design blueprints for health information systems (HIS) and electronic health records (EHR) to meet various regulatory and compliance standards, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
  • Build and implement innovative technical solutions that allow clients to better manage their data and provide superior care.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the realm of healthcare technology, staying up to date on trends and advancements to drive innovation and progress.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective HIS and EHR architectures that meet client needs.
  • Advise on data management and governance best practices, ensuring that client data is handled appropriately.
  • Lead the creation of solution prototypes and proof of concepts, while ensuring that all technical artifacts and documentation are comprehensive, complete, and accurate.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of healthcare IT experience, preferably as an enterprise architect.
  • Strong understanding of HISs and EHRs, and knowledge of how these systems can be used to improve patient care.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR and other regulatory and compliance standards governing healthcare data management.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing healthcare IT solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in various technologies and processes such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile development, and DevOps.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex technical problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
