Position Summary:

This role leads the Enterprise Applications User Access Team for the North America Business Unit, which is comprised of User Access Analysts for SAP and non-SAP applications. This role resides within the larger North American Information Systems team, with this role reporting to the leader of the Enterprise Applications Technical Team. The User Access Manager will ensure that users are granted the appropriate access rights while maintaining security, compliance, and efficiency. This position will involve working closely with various departments, including IT, SAP administrators, security teams, and application owners to ensure the correct access controls are in place across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP user access management, experience with non-SAP applications, proficient in identity and access management (IAM), security best practices, and the ability to manage user access across diverse platforms and applications.

Salary range: $135k - $160k (may vary based on relative education and experience)

Essential Functions:

  • Actively manage the User Access team, day-to-day, with courageous leadership, operating with a people first approach and ensuring the most value is elicited from each resource; intently and consistently focused on seizing all opportunities for coaching and development of the individuals and the team
  • Responsible for the learning plan and professional development strategy of User Access team to strengthen experience and understanding of the applications, resulting in both a more broad and more detailed understanding of the application
  • Responsible for the design, execution and communication of the quantitative metrics and qualitative assessments which drive user access administration, from inception through delivery, ultimately providing insight to volume, reason/source of initiation and resolution activity/timeline.
  • Design, implement and manage documentation policy and procedure for the User Access team, ensuring compliance with policy and value-add activities in the procedure, including critical components such as defining relationships between documents, standardizing templates and ensuring complete and accurate information
  • Ensure complete and full compliance with all controls, following documented procedures and ensuring all processes are consistently followed
  • Lead the work activities with full management responsibility for the User Access team; responsible for equal focus on all functional areas
  • Develop communication strategy with key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement for processes and increasing ownership of support by the business
  • Oversee user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and modifications for SAP applications (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, etc.) and other non-SAP enterprise applications; Ensure user access is granted based on roles, business needs, and least-privilege principles; Manage and maintain user roles and permissions within SAP systems (including SAP GRC) and other non-SAP applications
  • Collaborate with SAP and security teams to implement and enforce security policies that prevent unauthorized access to critical systems and sensitive data; Address and mitigate any user access risks, policy violations, or security incidents related to user access.
  • Ensure timely updates and changes to user permissions as roles or business requirements evolve.
  • Actively manage user roles in SAP, including the creation, assignment, and maintenance of roles and profiles.
