The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist team member to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Capability in Oklahoma City, OK.  Team members will report to the assigned Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team.  This position will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creates engineering documentation

  • Technical writing

  • Performs defined metric coordination tasks to meet business objectives.

  • Develops and maintains Metrics dashboards to track trends and health of programs

  • Applies standard methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation steps.

  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

  • Acts as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team.  Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Engineering corrective action review board representative

  • Acts collaboratively with other teams to accomplish interdependent projects or organizational goals

  • Uses appropriate communications techniques to ensure a shared understanding of information with all project stakeholders

This position requires the ability to obtain clearance active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

                             

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent of 5-7 years relative experience

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient knowledge of principles, standards, and processes, such as described in ANSI/EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK 62, Configuration Management Standard.

  • PLM experience; Configuration Management and/or Data Management

  • Technical writing

  • ADO or Agile Experience

  • Web based performance metrics

  • Project management experience

  • Strong communication skills; vocal and written
