Requirements

 Essential Job Duties:

• Develop, maintain, and generate CMM programs used to inspect and verify production components.
• Maintain process documentation to internal and industry standards.
• Assist Operations team with technical support and troubleshooting.
• Operates and maintains CMM machines.
• Apply knowledge of ANSI/ASME, ISO, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
• Monitors operations that are potential problem areas.
• Maintains accurate records and other data as required.
• Observe all company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.
• Perform machine setups for particularly difficult or unproven processes.
• Other Engineering Activities as assigned including CNC Programming, and Process Engineering

Job Specifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal oversight
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with CMM Programming Software
• Ability to understand and use SPC theories and functions and blueprints.
• Ability to fill out required company inspection and production documents.
• Ability to determine when parts meet specifications.
• Excellent verbal communications
• Expert in GD&T

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2-3 years related manufacturing experience required.
• Mastercam and Solidworks experience preferred.
• Calypso and PC-DMIS experience preferred.
• CNC Programming/Setup experience desired.
