Summary: As a member of the Martin’s family, the Engineering Project Manager is primarily responsible for planning, directing, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager is a professional, who has working knowledge of the technical details of managing projects including human resources, project scope, time, quality, cost, risk, procurement and communication; who embraces a mindset of thorough planning and continuous improvement, who is rigorously dedicated to extraordinary quality and customer service, who continuously strive to improve communication channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Directs and manages project development from beginning to end.

Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

Communicates openly and effectively the project expectations to team members and stakeholders timely.

Estimate s the resources and human resources needed to achieve project goals.

Drafts and submits budget proposals, and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary.

Where required, negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.

Determines and assesses need for additional staff and/or consultants and makes the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.

Sets and continually manage s project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
