Engineering Manager III

About the Position:
The Engineering Manager III leads engineering efforts across the program, overseeing teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting design reviews and testing. The candidate will coordinate resources, contribute to scheduling, and brief leadership on technical progress.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manages all program engineering efforts, staffing, team dynamics.
• Participates in all design reviews, tests, logistics efforts.
• Oversee and support engineering teams.
• Briefs leadership stakeholders regarding engineering efforts.
• Writes engineering plans, findings, recommendations.
• Enforces engineering standards, policies, and regulations.
• Provides input to Master Scheduler regarding sequencing of tasks, durations, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinates resource assignments with Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers.

Qualifications:
• An active DoD Secret Clearance
• A master's degree in a specialized field plus a minimum of 1 year of applicable experience; or a bachelor's degree in the specialized field plus 7 years of applicable experience; or a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 9 years of specialized experience

Additionally desired experience and skills:
• Experience with military vehicles
• Basic metal and cable fabrication
• Automotive/mechanical troubleshooting
• Generator maintenance and troubleshooting
• Fiber / BICSI / Certifications
