Walhalla, SC location is seeking Clemson University
Mechanical Engineering students to work full-time in the
Spring Semester and/or Summer Semester
What you’ll do:
◦ Support our component processing area (stamp, heat treat, finishing).
◦ The candidate will be given several small projects that could be completed in a few months or provide solution/plan that we could carry out.
◦ Work alongside engineers
◦ Weekly report outs and End of Semester presentation
◦ Typical hours would be M-F 8am to 4:30pm. We are only 16 miles from Clemson's campus!
A few projects we have in mind:
Recycling acid & burnish in tumble
Automation for grinder
Improved load & unload on Heat Treat furnaces
