Your journey to impactful work and rapid growth starts now—be extraordinary at ManTech!ManTech seeks motivated and research-oriented students to serve as an Engineering Intern to assist in ongoing research and development projects, contributing to enhancements of operational efficiency and technological advancements. Interns may be included in projects involving automation, quantum computing, cloud computing, cyber security, and site reliability engineering.
All work is onsite in Fayetteville, NC. A relocation stipend may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Employ open-source research capabilities to gather relevant information from multiple sources
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings, some of which are related to quantum computing
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving current research initiatives
- Analyze and interpret data
- Document processes, workflows, and system configurations
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of systems
- Prepare reports and presentations on research progress and findings
- Support the migration of applications and data to cloud environments
- Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Monitor system performance and availability, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Currently pursuing a BS or a MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with a projected graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
- Individuals must be willing to work full-time onsite in Fayetteville, NC.
- Proficiency with the MS Office and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to work and collaborate within an agile team as well as with the other interns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Security Clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++,
