Engineer, Project Assistant

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Define project scope and objectives
• Predict and manage resources to meet project objectives
• Prepare project budgets based on scope and resource requirements
• Track and manage project costs to ensure adherence to budget 
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plan
• Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders, including strategy adjustment and progress 
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure tasks completion and timely deliverables.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards during project execution 
• Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science and engineering 
• 3-5 years of project management and related experience
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Familiarity with project management tools and software and best practices
• Familiarity with Composite structures is a plus
• Interest in learning the technical aspects of wind turbine blade manufacturing
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, budget and timeline.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, vendors, clients, and others. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
