Summary
As a member of CSpring’s delivery team, the Engagement Manager will be involved in the design and delivery of meaningful client projects. You will interact with our clients and project teams, leverage your business and technical skills, and analyze client needs to solve important problems. You will be a true partner to our clients, dedicated to making each client a raving fan.
Furthermore, to be successful in this role, you will exercise curiosity to truly understand a client’s business goals and how technology enables the achievement of those goals. You may be involved in all or part of the project life cycle including planning, designing, building, training, and deployment support. To accomplish this, you will maintain a firm understanding of solutions, business processes, technologies, and best practices. You are a learner, looking for new ways to solve technological challenges for our clients. You must be self-directed and confident while knowing that the rest of the team is always willing to lend a hand.

Requirements
- Prior experience working independently and managing small engagements or parts of large engagement
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow through on assignment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience in client facing roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of project management principles and agile/scrum methodologies
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or other similar project management tools
- Experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion
- Superior verbal and written communication skills as evidenced by positive interactions with co-workers, management, clients, and potential clients
- Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment; we work in our Indianapolis office or at the client location three days per week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business requirements, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the engagement
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful delivery of IT consulting services. This involves coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to execute project tasks efficiently
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of consultants and specialists to provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure that project objectives are met within budget and timelines
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively
- ROI Optimization: Maximize engagement value by balancing features, cost, and customer impact
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables meets or exceeds client expectations by establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes and standards
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints
- Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and any relevant issues. This may involve preparing and presenting reports, presentations, and other communication materials
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and value-added services to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of IT consulting engagements
- Presale Support: Support CSpring business development personnel by actively participating in such activities as pre-sale planning, business development meetings, and/or solution and proposal development. Participate in effort/cost estimates and solution structuring during the sales life cycle and assess how project risks will impact estimates. Develop white papers, case studies, and other pertinent materials to highlight expertise and support sales/marketing efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of relevant IT Engagement Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst exper
