What You'll Do:
As an Endpoint Systems Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day support and maintenance of our endpoint systems. You’ll work closely with end users to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed, including:
- System Maintenance & Support: Manage and maintain a fleet of endpoint computers, mobile devices, and software applications, ensuring everything is up-to-date and functioning flawlessly.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely, effective solutions that keep users productive.
- System Updates & Testing: Stay ahead of the game by reviewing, testing, and providing support for new and updated endpoint system functionalities.
- Client Support: Provide responsive, high-quality support to users, whether on-site or remotely, ensuring all client requests are handled quickly and efficiently.
- Hardware & Software Installation: Install and maintain endpoint hardware, peripherals, and software applications, and advise on the best upgrades or improvements.
- Reporting & Supply Management: Complete job reports, manage supply orders, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You Bring:
We’re seeking someone with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You’ll need:
- Technical Experience: 1-3 years of experience in desktop support or IT roles, troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Strong Skills: Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and remote support tools. Familiarity with Active Directory, system imaging, and networking is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Ability: A knack for resolving complex technical issues with ease and efficiency.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to end users.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel and work after hours when necessary.
