Endoscopy Technician - Days

Deliver a safe and patient-focused environment for procedures as an Endoscopy Technician at New Yorks #1-ranked hospital (U.S.News World Report). In this role, you will be a trusted member of the patient care team. You’ll assist with procedures and provide nurses and physicians with key observations. You’ll play a key role in our hospitals mission: Putting Patients First.  Escort patients to procedures.  Assist with care planning.  Maintain and order equipment supplies, and be the driving force for safety. Step into a culture of strong bonds between patients and colleagues, and help advance our focus on care and caring.

This is a full time position working 4/10s between Monday through Friday at the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

 

Preferred Criteria

• Qualified candidates should have two years of experience as an endoscopy technician, GI technician, GI assistant or Operating Room technician in a hospital environment
• Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant program 
   

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterilization procedures and techniques 

• Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience

$32.54-$42.39/Hourly
